Samina, my 23 yr old niece arrives at Nimes airport this morning. I drop Alicia at creche and drive straight off to the airport - arriving 10 mins before the Ryanair plane from East Midlands was due to arrive - Samina was there 25 minutes before me...

Brilliant sunshine welcomes Samina to France (her first time in France)... after a coffee, we go back to the creche, get Alicia, quickly lunch and then off to the supermarket so we don't starve to death. Much easier shopping with someone else to entertain the monkey!

Quickly we dump the shopping in the kitchen and we drive off to La Grande Motte to see the seaside and sit in the sun for half an hour. However, the area behind the Thalassa is have a major facelift... diggers everywhere - which would have pleased Alicia no end, but she was asleep and slept thru the whole walk in the pushchair... even the Italian ice cream we treated ourselves too.

We drive back via Aigues Mortes with the chateau there and the salt factory, Baleine.
We saw plenty of white horses and black bulls too.

Home for chicken fajitas - very French food!!
