A Long Day...

Lots to do today. We all go to Montpellier to AMETRA for 'A's medical check up. Getting there really early we stop off for a coffee at Benoit's. Granny and Grandad go on to get the train back to Bordeaux.

AMETRA was a bit of a wait... but all done ('A' passed his exam!) we go to the Antigone for a bite of lunch. (thank you Benoit) Then to Top Office to buy some ink for the printer... then to the notaire's over an hour's drive away for the final signature of my house. All goes well, but the estate agent hasn't done half the work he should have done (he should have discussed the changing of a quote for work to be done to the house with the notaire, and he was going to read the water and electric meters ) - so we have to go again back to the house to read the meters.... bum!

So home after 7pm - a long day for a two year old - apart from an incident with the yukka plant in the notaire's office... she was a good girl.

Florence from next door comes for a glass of champagne with us (and a slice of pizza.) Feel totally numb.
