Sommieres market

'A' helps our neighbour Florence to hire a van and move some furniture from the Fly shop to her new appartment in La Grande Motte... he's gone most of the day... this is mostly due to the fact she's bought a big corner cupboard which is nightmare to put together and 'A' says in no uncertain terms is a pile of rubbish.... Euro300 or so of rubbish.

Yannick, (otherwise known as Tonton Ninick) Alicia and me go to Sommieres market to meet a friend and give them a bottle of champagne as a present for helping me with my house sale.. but they don't turn up despite two phone calls... how hard is it to give away a bottle of champagne? Anyway, we try and buy hot oil herbs for pizzas (it's too dry for them right now I'm told... come back at Easter) and some gorgeous apple juice from the nearby village of Aubais... and have a coffee.

We take Yannick to the train at 5pm to go home...
