Gone Fishing

It's one of the highest tides of the year here in the Ile de Re - so when it's low tide time - everybody goes out to the rock pools to look for oysters and crabs - us included...

Alicia was most concerned when the rather cool seawater went over the top of her wellies... but granny came along and showed us how to tap on the top of each of the rocks 'knock knock' to see if there was any crabs living underneath... we saw loads of starfish too - in blues and reds and browns - they were gorgeous.

The air was so clean there... and it was so quiet... it was a really amazing experience...
