Newsletter and Catching up

I spent all morning trying to get the BritsNimes newsletter out - sort out the next restaurant club (I have to say I really judge restaurants these days by how they treat me on the phone, when I call and say I want to book for 20 people on a mid-week lunchtime out of season - and they tell me they are too busy and to call back, well hey!!? they don't need my business do they?) - also sorting out the monthly cultural trip, this month to a working olive mill in Beaucaire followed by a lunch or picnic.

Then I go and meet Benoit at the Odysseum to get this month's book club choice - Restless by William Boyd... we stop for a cool glass...

I get home in time for a trip to the butcher's for some steak for dinner (I have those frozen dauphinois potatoes (which I wouldn't normally buy, but Alicia now loves them after her holiday...) to go with. Alicia and I walk home via the 'toys' in the park.
