My Book Club in Anduze

A great night last night - plenty of Sangria and Jamaican chicken.... between us (only) girls (apart from Benson and Harry the Labs).

More fun to be had to today - it's my book club which is held at the Grange de La Bahou just outside of Anduze - we've been reading Restless by William Boyd which was quite good... I had to make myself read it.. but am glad I did... I don't think I'm be able to say the same about the next book - The Last Mughal by William somebody...

A small group at the club today - Monday is a bank holiday in France and in England so everybody is off gallivanting... the book is liked by everybody and the conversation turns to one lady in the group who used to live next door to a CIA spy in Brussels.... fascinating (they only found out after his wife went mad and was helicoptered away...) (the book is about spies). We also have a new chap who used to be a lawyer in Scotland... some great stories this week.

We drive home via Le Vigan to return a TPS box - would you believe, once again sans the telephone cable... but this time we left it at that...

Picture of my favourite-est view .... near Durfort. Thanks Missy.
