BritsNimes craft club today - we go over to Liz's house in Langlade to learn how to make Summer Soups & Salads. Recipes included:
- Avocado & Cucumber Soup
- Lavender Vichyssoise
- Red Pepper Gazpacho with Frozen Olive Oil
- Asian Chicken Salad
- Potato, Chorizo, Green Bean and Capsicum Salad
- Yam Pak Salad
- Roasted Vegetable and Quinoa Salad
- Insalata di Pasta, Fontina Noci e Sedano
I manage to get to Alicia's creche end of term party - mummys and daddys invited too. There were ball throwing & fishing games to do... lots of food (most of which topped off with jelly crocodile sweets) and finished off with a flamenco dancing demonstration.
Today is the fete de la musique so we head for Sommieres to the Delice du Liban resto for dinner - 3 courses Euro17 plus wine and a jazz band. It was a lovely warm evening... really pleasant.
