Amazonian Glasshouse in Montpellier's Zoo

Forgot to say last night on the way into Nimes we dropped into Decathlon and bought Alicia a new swimming vest - we tried one at Helen's yesterday and it was very good... not too cumbersome. And a new pair of hot pink sunglasses...

We went to the Amazonian Glasshouse this morning at the zoo at the north end of Montpellier. We thought it would be a good idea to have a visit with Lisa and try and get the conversation going and it worked a treat. Euro5 an adult / Euro2.50 6 to 12yrs / free for under 6's.
Lots of bugs, spiders, birds, exotic plants, monkeys and a leopard.
And wait for it, the best bit for Alicia was a wooden rope bridge.
Home for lunch, Lisa liked baked beans on toast then we went online and looked up lots of different addresses on Google Earth so that brought on more conversation.

After Alicia's bath we walk down to the wine bar in the village for a glass of red. I have to say each time I go now it seems even more expensive, the wine isn't so good and I hate having to wait a good 5 minutes when the staff finish their conversation before they deal with you.
