English Muffins to Bordeaux

I dropped Alicia off at school along with presents of cranberry muffins for her teachers yesterday (response was: thank you so much - are they English cakes? errrm no.)

She loves school - really, a punishment in our house is to threaten no school today. Yesterday they had a gouter of cake and clementines and she came home with a lovely new book as a present from the school. The day before she came home with a Christmas card made out of her photo and topped off with a Papa Noel outfit complete with cotton wool beard and furry hat. Also an Alicia made ornament with a paper christmas tree stuck on a bit of wood with a little wooden Santa stuck on too.

The rest of Friday was made up of packing and then driving to Bordeaux where I am now. We arrived at midnight.

'A' spent last night in Paris at his new company's Xmas party at the Club Med conference place - eating dinner with trapeze artists above his head.... hmm.
