Having an X-Ray in France

So off to the radio. place this morning (I'm having an x-ray of my sinus as the doctor thought there might be something growing in there... (eeeuwww TMI).

Surprisingly easy to find and to park in Lunel.... Me and Alicia arrive 10 minutes early - there's a kids table and lego so that's all good then. After 5 minutes we are called in and Alicia sits in the little anti-room watching me through the open door - being very good and not moving (perhaps it was the packet of smarties I left her with?)- as I'm zapped with rays.

5 minutes later I'm playing my Euro46.95 (all refundable with my mutuelle and CPAM set up) - 5 minutes after that I'm being shown my x-rays by the doctor who says I just have a little inflammation now (hey, it's all those antibiotics and steriods?) and we're out of there before 11.30am.

With 'A's new company set up - we are going to be having a new mutuelle - for which the company will pay half and we'll pay half - which will cost us about Euro50 a month as opposed to the Euro75 we pay now (2 adults of 35yrs and 40yrs and a 3yr old) - we haven't had all the details yet - but I image that the new mutuelle will cover opticians and dentists too - which we don't currently subscribe to.

Then we went off to the walking club for a glass of vin chaud.. mmmm.
