And finally, Sunday... in Montpellier

Pain & Cie, Restaurant, Breakfast & Brunch, Tea room, Take Away & Delicatessen, 4 Place Jean Jaurès, 7 days a week 8:00 - 23:30, 04 67 60 24 35

From Comédie go up rue de la Loge, Place Jean Jaurès is a triangle shape square before Halles Castellanes / Virgin Megastore, with Jean Jaurès statue. Did you know a church used to be there in Medieval times ? There is a museum underneath, entrance by the glass walls.

Pain & Cie is very popular for its brunches at the week end. Nice terrace on this square full of cafés & restaurants, large dining area inside with warm wooden furniture and you can sit as well on "table d'hôtes" even if you're on your own.

Organic food nicely presented. Personally I'm a fan of their "Planche poissonnier" : different small fishy samples, smoked salmon, blinis, soft cheese and herbs with a baked potato or aligot ;

Menu du jour (plat du jour + dessert du jour or café gourmand) lunch time week days only : 11 € ; salads 11,50 € - 13,50 € ; Tartines (cold or hot) 6,50 € - 9,30 € ; Desserts 5 € ; Breakfast 5,90 € - 8,30 € ; Planches 13 € - 22 € ; Menus Main & dessert 16 € , starter & main 18 € , 3 courses 22 €
