A week of Resto's in Montpellier - Monday's

BRASSERIE ARLEQUIN, Esplanade de l'Europe, open 7 days a week lunch & dinner, 04 67 22 27 98

This restaurant is right at the end of the new area called the "Antigone" by the river Lez. On foot from la Comédie, turning your back on the opera house, you have to go at the other end of the square, turn right when you see the Tourist Office and go through the shopping Centre "Polygone".

At the other end you will enter the "Antigone" area. The restaurants by the Lez are 1800 meters further down (the exact length of the Champs Elysées in Paris !). On the Tram it's on the Blue line stop "Place de l'Europe". If you get lost ask any student for the "Australian café" which is next to it !

It's a typical Brasserie so you've got a very large choice: pizzas, pastas, sea food, paëlla, salads, fish, meat... Menus are 10 € for 2 courses, then 15,99 € and 22,99 € . Free for children up to 12 if someone in the party is spending at least 15,99 € otherwise the kid's menu is 7,50 €. Happy Hour 6:30-7:30 i.e. 50 % on A la carte dishes.

Nice & friendly staff. Reasonably good value.

Thanks to Benoit for this... more to come.
