Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everybody and thank you for reading this blog over the past year.

We've had a very quiet Christmas at home - just me and my little family - Christmas eve we went into Montpellier to see the Christmas Market which is fab. don't miss it. I think by now everybody had done their shopping and it was very quiet - even at the new shopping centre at the Odysseum.

Stopping off at Ikea on the way back to buy smoked salmon, it was just dead! seemed very odd.

That's where the quietness ended, as at 4pm I went out to the local butcher to pick up my ordered shoulder of lamb for dinner and then to the bread shop and was nearly killed in the crush! Welcome to France - this is how it is! Food food food!  Have a good one with lots of good food!
