Travel in France with kids - mum's handluggage

We are in that final phase of packing for a family holiday where the house looks considerably worse before it begins to look better!  There is an inconceivably large washing pile strewn all over the bedroom floor - the result of 'laundry neglect' over the Christmas period - as well as the even larger pile of 'things' that need to make it into the packing.  Nothing that a little bit effort won't sort out.

We are all ridiculously excited about our skiing holiday!  My husband and I have accomplished only two days of skiing in our entire 13 years together so this holiday is long overdue and of course my eldest two children think that skiing is going to be much like playing on the Wii!  My 5 year old has even asked whether she can do a ski jump...umm perhaps not this time.

The excitement is centred around the fact that we have just put the first 3 family friendly chalets on the www.totstotravel.co.uk site so frankly it would be rude not to test at least one of them out.  We are staying at Les Etoiles des Beaux Artin the Chamonix valley which I am told is a fantastically family friendly resort so I will report back on our return.
